Chanute High and Middle

5 members of the Chanute Symphonic Band represented us today at the Kansas Bandmasters Association Middle-Level Honor Band. They spent the morning and afternoon rehearsing in Wichita and presented a concert in late afternoon. This is like a Middle School All-State Band for Kansas. They had the immense privilege of being under the baton of composer and conductor Tyler S. Grant! Lady Comet Softball hosted Columbus for their final home games of the season. JV won 8-2. They play their final games of the regular season on Thursday at Ft. Scott.

​Chanute Public Schools will be closed again on Thursday, February 20 due to the forecast of extreme cold and dangerous temperatures. Everyone stay safe.

School is canceled in Chanute Public Schools on Wednesday, February 19th. All schools, services, and related activities, including athletics, are canceled for the day. Everyone stay safe.
